Trichocereus Pachanoi (San Pedro) 15 - 25 cm

The photo shows one of the 15 - 25 cm tall Trichocereus Pachanoi (San Pedro) cacti. The plants are unrooted cuttings. The cuttings can simply be put into soil so that the cactus takes root again and continues to grow.

Trichocereus Pachanoi grows very shrubby, is mostly branched from the base and reaches growth heights of up to 6 metres. The shoots are up to 5 metres long and have a maximum diameter of 15 centimetres. Three to seven thorns arise from the whitish areoles that are close together, but they can also be absent.

Near the tip of the shoot are the funnel-shaped, white, fragrant flowers. They only open at night, are up to 24 centimetres long and reach a diameter of up to 20 centimetres. Their pericarp and the flower tube are covered with black hairs.

The plants are sold for decorative purposes only.
