Trichocereus Peruvianus grows bushy to tree-like. They usually have some shoots and reach stature heights of 1 to 3 meters. 
The shoots are blue-green to gray-green and have a diameter of 6 to 20 centimeters. The flower opens at night, is funnel-shaped, white, between 22 and 25 centimeters long and fragrant. 
 
The plant grows in central to south-western Peru at altitudes from 2700 to 3400 meters and in the Peruvian regions Huancavelica, Ica and Ayacucho at altitudes from 2200 to 2800 meters.
