Copiapoa cinerea v. Quebrada (Tal Tal, Antofagasta, Chile) is a site-specific form of Copiapoa cinerea, native to the arid coastal deserts around Tal Tal in the Antofagasta region of northern Chile.

This species typically develops small, spherical to slightly columnar shoots with a grey-green to silvery-grey epidermis that reflects sunlight and retains moisture in the harsh desert environment. The shoot is segmented into distinct ribs, each bearing small areoles with short, stout spines. Over time, mature plants can form small clumps, creating a sculptural, structured appearance.

During its flowering period, Copiapoa cinerea v. Quebrada produces bright yellow flowers that emerge from the apex, creating a striking contrast to the muted stem colors. Highly adapted to extreme drought, intense sunlight, and nutrient-poor soils, this population grows slowly but exhibits exceptional resilience and is a highly sought-after collector's item for enthusiasts of Chilean desert cacti.
