Lophophora williamsii v. Huizache (San Luis Potosí, Mexico) is a rare, location-specific form of Lophophora. williamsii, native to the semi-arid region around Huizache in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. This population is documented and valued for its precise origin and characteristic morphology.

This form develops small, flat, button-like bodies with a smooth, pale green to grey-green epidermis. The surface is divided into soft, rounded tubercles, each tubercle bearing a small tuft of fine white wool, evenly distributed across the crown. Mature plants usually remain solitary but can slowly form compact clumps over many years.

During the flowering period, delicate pale pink to soft magenta flowers emerge from the central, woolly areoles, creating a gentle contrast to the subtle green of the body. Adapted to calcareous, well-drained soils and minimal rainfall, this population exhibits slow growth, high resilience, and excellent adaptation to its natural environment. Its precise provenance, elegant form, and understated coloration make it a sought-after specimen for collectors of rare, site-specific Lophophora. williamsii.
