Lophophora koehresii (viridescens) v. RS1182 is a rare, site-specific form of Lophophora. koehresii, native to the semi-arid region around El Sabino, Rio Verde, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Field number RS1182 designates a documented population, valued for its precise origin and characteristic morphology.

This form develops small, flat, button-like bodies with a smooth, bright green (viridescens) epidermis. The surface is divided into soft, rounded tubercles, each with a fine tuft of white wool, distributed symmetrically across the crown. Mature plants usually remain solitary, but can slowly form compact clumps under optimal conditions.

During the flowering period, delicate flowers in shades of pale pink to soft magenta emerge from the central, woolly areoles, creating a gentle contrast to the vibrant green of the body. Adapted to dry, calcareous, well-drained soils and minimal rainfall, this population exhibits slow growth, high resilience, and excellent adaptation to its natural habitat. Its precise provenance, intense coloration, and elegant, compact form make it a highly sought-after specimen for collectors of rare, site-specific Lophophora.
